Our law office provides legal advising in the area of classical civil law, with a specific focus on personality protection, media law, commercial law, law of obligations and corporate law, including foundation and administration of commercial companies.

Clients – entrepreneurs receive from us a long-term comprehensive legal service ensuring administration of legal matters of the whole firm, including labour-law issues, representation at solution of legal matters before state and administrative authorities etc. Involving a cooperating tax office, we are able to complement our legal services by tax and accounting agenda.

The founder of the Law Office of JUDr. Jana Fráňová graduated from the Faculty of Law at Charles University in Prague and she has been practising law since 1993. At the Faculty of Law of Charles University, she defended the master thesis on the topic of "Legal Regulation of Commercial Companies in Italian Law" and the doctor thesis on the topic of “Olympism and Intellectual Property“.

Jana Fráňová was on short-term study stays at Italian faculties of law in Perugia and in Catania.

Jana Fráňová also studied Italian language at the State Language School in Prague and in 1991 she passed the state exam in Italian language there.

In 1995, the president of the Regional Court in Prague appointed JUDr. Jana Fráňová as a sworn interpreter in Italian language.

In the long term, JUDr. Jana Fráňová concentrates on media law, advertising law and sports law and the law of sports marketing, with a focus on exploitation of personality rights of sportspersons and corporate sponsorship.

JUDr. Jana Fráňová provides legal services to Italian legal entities and natural persons, including legal representation in courts, and within the framework of cooperation with several Italian law offices she also provides legal service to Czech natural persons or legal entities in Italy, including not only the legal representation in civil-law matters, but also the foundation and administration of business corporations or other ownership interests in Italy.

JUDr. Jana Fráňová acts as an arbitrator in the standing Arbitration Court at the Economic Chamber of the Czech Republic and the Agricultural Chamber of the Czech Republic.

JUDr. Jana Fráňová is a member of the media commission of the Publishers´ Association.
